Stepping into ECK Adulthood
How do we help our young adults continue their ECK enrollment after they turn eighteen? Some of them turn away from ECK just because they are now expected to enroll for themselves.
—Dedicated Parent
Dear Dedicated Parent,
Your youth have reached the age where society regards them as adults. They have lots to learn, like making the right decisions in unfamiliar situations. Until now, you’ve done it for them.
Enrolling in ECK is their job. They’re no longer kids. You can remind them, but they must sign up themselves. It’s a part of growing up.
We must allow others spiritual freedom. Even our young.
